Description
The Electric Tomatoes / Tomates Eléctricos, constitute one of the best legends of La Movida Valenciana. The four responsible for the original futuristic techno-pop experiment were: Miguel Ángel Galán "Tomator", Francisco Galán "Tomatín", José Godofredo "Kokof" and the prolific José Luis Macías [we have yet to find out why].

Macías had given birth to the group a song called "Images". That song did not like the rest of the group and took it to Glamor, band in which at that time he was militant and was beginning to create his first album. As you know, this song became the main anthem of La Movida Valenciana.

The three remaining musicians began to give life to Fanzine, one of the most memorable formations that Valencia knew during that decade.

As an anecdotal note, the group Ultimate Emotion, where José Luis Macías himself ended up, titled one of his best-known songs, "The Mystery of Electric Tomatoes", in a clear tribute to the quartet.
